All of us (except Jeannie) woke up early this morning to pick up our car from Avis. I was expecting a white Hyundai Sonata which was what we got last year but lo and behold, look at what we got! And it's the latest Hyundai Sonata too! I love this car...the design is so sleek!

After returning to our pension to pick up Jeannie, we somehow decided to go to Lotte Hotel in Jungmun for a good buffet breakfast. But unfortunately, by the time we reached the hotel nearly an hour later, it was 10.32am and the buffet ended at 10.30am :( So we did window-shopping in the duty-free shop, toured the hotel and spotted a crew filming for some drama.
Our next stop was the Green Tea Farm and Raus took over the wheel. Admission was 5,000KRW per person which included free green tea.
From the Green Tea Farm, Raus drove us to the Automobile World Museum for which the admission ticket cost 8,000KRW per person. For some unknown reason, there were so many school boys there and we got 1 of them to help us take a picture.

Kenneth took over after we left the Automobile Museum and drove us to the Chocolate Museum. Actually, we wanted to have lunch since we left Lotte Hotel and thought that we would find some eatery along the way to the Green Tea Farm but we didn't. Even from the Green Tea Farm to the Automobile Museum and to the Chocolate Museum, we couldn't find any eateries! We were almost dying of hunger after arriving at the Chocolate Museum so we decided to search for food elsewhere before returning to the museum. That time, it was about 3pm and we were rejected by a few eateries because it was past lunch time and they, apparently, had no food for us. We managed to find one eatery which accepted us and right after we asked for the menu, the lady boss' husband popped into the eatery and reminded his wife that the chef wasn't around :( Before entering the eatery, we had asked if food was available and that we could eat there. The lady boss said yes but she had forgotten that there was no chef in the eatery -.- Wow. Thankfully, there was another eatery just across the road and we finally had our lunch at nearly 4pm. After lunch, we (Kenneth, Raus and I) shopped at a mart and bought lots of biscuits for our car ride so that we would never be hungry again.

The admission ticket for the Chocolate Museum cost 8,000KRW per person and it came with a cup of black coffee which I hated because I don't drink coffee. Actually, there was nothing much at the museum and the chocolates sold there were quite pricey. Initially, Kenneth, Raus and I wanted to purchase a box of chocolate to share but Jeannie dissuaded us from doing so because it was too expensive. It's good to have Jeannie as a friend. And Yuhong too. They stop me from making frivolous purchases and knock some sense into me. I think I'll take a personal financial management course next semester.

| Kind Kenneth was my official bag carrier for the trip! |
Sadly, the museums in Jeju close at 6pm and we were left with nowhere else to go so we decided to go to a beach. And unfortunately, by the time we reached a beach (after trying to rely on Yuya beach-navigating GPS which failed), it was pitch black and really cold. I was all wrapped up like a terrorist. It was so cold and we couldn't see much so we left after awhile and bought drinks from the GS25 store opposite.

| Packet soju, anyone? |

From the beach (I can't remember which beach we went to...maybe it was Hyeopjae Beach?), Yuya drove us to Tapdong Shopping Street where we visited a few times last year. I stupidly wore my heels and packed a pair of slippers for the trip with no other flat footwear so when I was in the Tapdong Underground Shopping Centre, I wanted to get a pair of flats. But I decided against it when I couldn't find any nice ones and I didn't want to get any random pair just to wear in Jeju. A pair of black flats with gold ribbon costs only 13,000KRW in a wholesale shopping mall in Dongdaemun; in Tapdong, I saw it for 32,000KRW. The wholesale shopping area in Dongdaemun is really the place to go...coats there are really cheap as well! I saw a pretty (but too long) beige coat there which only cost 59,000KRW. I bet it's retailing in Doota for over 100,000KRW. We got quite bored in the shopping centre after awhile so we left for dinner at an eatery near Ocean Suites Hotel. Raus and I wanted to eat bibimbap but we were told by the boss that it was too hot for him to cook it so we had to choose something else. Seriously. This is how things are in Jeju. First, the chef wasn't around and the lady boss forgot about that. Secondly, it was too hot for the boss/chef to cook it when it's autumn (and some say, early winter). I managed to find something else to order but Raus couldn't so we decided to leave the eatery. After I told the chef that we couldn't find any other food to order, he changed his mind and said that he'll cook the bibimbap for us -.- Also, i ordered the wrong fish dish for Kenneth...he wanted the other fish dish but I ordered the 옥몸구이. Sorry, Kenneth!

Since it was dark so early and we had nowhere else to go after dinner, Jeannie wanted to go to a club and went into a nearby hotel to ask if there were any clubs nearby. But no, there are NO clubs in Jeju, only night clubs. Jeannie was so bored and desperate to have some nightlife that we all decided to go to a nearby night club with the idea of having the guys entering first and getting a table and we girls would just pretend that we didn't know them and join their table. But just as we were about to enter the lift to go up to the night club, some drunken old men entered and we decided against it. The area seemed quite sleazy as well and I felt quite uneasy. Thank goodness we didn't go there! Plan B was to buy drinks from a convenience store, get my ipod cable from our room so that we can use my ipod with the car's speakers, drive to a beach/jetty near our pension and dance outside the car in the cold with the music blasting. Along our way back to the pension, we passed by a group of ang mohs decked in their Halloween costumes so we made a u-turn and asked 2 guys from the group if they knew of any clubs in Jeju. They said that there was one in the Cityhall but from their description, it's a night club and not a club so we decided to continue with Plan B. Strange how there are actually so many foreigners living in Jeju! I'm pretty sure they're not tourists because why would a bunch of people go to Jejudo to dress up and have a Halloween Party there? Back in our room, the 3 of us girls got changed in preparation for dancing in the cold while the guys waited in the car downstairs. But unfortunately, no matter how many times we tried, we couldn't get the ipod to connect with the car's audio system so we had to abandon Plan B. Plan C was to party in the balcony instead with music blaring from Raus' handphone. Both Kenneth and I didn't want to drink so we went to sleep while crazy Jeannie, Raus and Yuya danced outside in the cold for 3 hours with the music blaring so loudly that our neighbours went out to their balcony to peak at them. I bet they hated us!
