[Part 2] 083. Shopping with the guys

Something's wrong with my body clock these days...I am waking up, later and later and later. This morning, I woke up at 10am and got a shock. I was supposed to wake up at 7.30am and hit the gym by 8am so that I can meet the guys later at 12pm but I woke up at 10am -.- Nevertheless, I was determined to exercise, albeit only for awhile, so I rushed to the gym and only jogged for half an hour before lifting weights, washing up and rushing back to my room to get ready.
We had lunch at School Food in Sinsa before exploring the area. I nearly bought some pretty necklaces and earrings but managed to control myself. In the end, I only spent money on food for the day! What an achievement...and the 2 guys bought more stuff than me! From Sinsa, I thought that we could walk to the Galleria and Rodeo Street in Apgujeong but I guessed we headed the wrong direction and ended up quite far from our intended destination. At a convenience store where we had some drinks, I checked with the cashier where Galleria was and she said that if we walk straight down the street, we'd reach Galleria after awhile. But just before we left the store after having our drinks, she came over to tell me that she had made a mistake: Galleria wasn't within walking distance :( So we ended up taking a cab there while having an interesting conversation with the taxi driver who kept saying that Singapore is very good.

From Rodeo Street, we walked quite a distance to reach Apgujeong Station, which was just diagonally opposite Hyundai Department Store. And the latter was near the convenience store where we were at earlier. So actually, it was within walking distance...just a very long walking distance and my poor feet started to hurt because of my boots :( I actually walked around for nearly 10 hours in my boots. Along the way, we stopped by Baskin Robbins to try the ice cream mocchi 2,500KRW which Sandy recommended. The green tea one was nice! But it was so cold that Kenneth's and my fingers were numb after awhile.

 From Apgujeong Station, we took the subway to Youngdeungpo Station 영등포역 and crossed over to Times Square for dinner and shopping. Surprisingly, we had to queue up to enter LV when there wasn't a queue in Galleria in Apgujeong and Times Square was not in a central location in Seoul.

After dinner, we walked around and ended up shopping for biscuits and drinks in E-mart. Look at Kenneth's backpack filled with 3 boxes of biscuits! 1's mine and the other box of biscuits I had was put in Yuhong's Uniqlo paper bag because I didn't want to pay for a plastic bag. And because I used Yuhong's paper bag, I had to hold it :(

Back in Anam, we met up with Jeannie and Raus while they had their late dinner/supper. I chatted with Jeannie and did some other nonsense when I had to wake up early the next day. My plan to sleep early was foiled!
