Korean fashion project

I just saw my Korean class classmate's FB photo album on Korean street style and I just had to write this entry:

Another "one of the greatest regrets" that I have about my 5 months in Korea was not taking photos of Korean girls' street style and doing up an entry on it :(

It would have been nice going to Myeongdong, Edae, Hongdae, Gangnam, Apgujeong and Sinsa taking photos of Korean street style! And then I could have done one for university girls' dressing as well. WHAT A WASTE. Actually, it'll be nice to do one for all 4 seasons...which means I should be in Korea for a year. Maybe masters in Korea will be a good idea to experience enough of Korea.

My attempts in Sinsa and Samcheongdong:
Actually, I just wanted to take a shot of those in the cafe, not the woman with the pink outerwear.
I took this shot because I love the woman's white tweed-like jacket
I was fascinated by his LV bag/huge pouch
I was in love with the wine dress
Putting fake grass on the steps is cool
Ok, this is not quite related because the guy in the picture is Yuya and I'm just putting this picture here because I love it.
So there, my feeble attempts.

Actually, I had always thought that I had a lot of time in Korea.
I thought that I could go back to those lovely places that I went to again to take better photos.
But I never got the chance and I'm left with these photos.

I need to go back. So many things not done and someone I badly need to be with.

My own blog book

Something that I've always wanted to do with my 39 days Yonsei immersion and 159 days Korea University exchange blog entries is to compile them into a book.
http://www.blurb.com
I've found some websites but I have no time to look into it.
I don't have time to do up the promised entries as well :(

AFTER 28 APRIL 2011!

And there are so many things I regretted not doing when I was still in Korea.
For those on exchange this semester, make the best out of it. Your exchange life only comes once and things are never quite the same when you revisit the country.
I was there at the right time with the right people. But I should have done more when I was there.

Back in Singapore, I still have the exchange student mentality.
"It's ok, it doesn't matter...I'm an exchange student!"

Sadly, I'm no longer on exchange and my grades count.

Welcome back to reality.

해피 발렌타인 데이!

To my dearest blog readers:
In Korea, Valentine's Day is actually for the guys only: ladies will give their men chocolates and gifts.
White Day on 14th March is for the ladies because the guys will return the favour to the ladies who gave them chocolates on Valentine's Day by giving candies and gifts.
On the other hand, the singles are not forgotten too so there is Black Day for them on 14th April- a day for singles to gather and eat jajjangmyeon 자장면 together.

Happy V-Day to all!
