[Part 2] 061. Evening with Jaehyun in Gangnam

I still find it hard to believe I'm in Korea now, living my dream and I don't want to wake up. Today's the 1st of October. October, November, December, January 7th :( I've been really happy here, surrounded by very good friends. I love my group because of these people whom I'm close to: Jaehyun, Alex, Jimmy, Youngwoong, Sean, Emi and Dokyung. And of course, I have my family here: Jeannie, Youngjin's family, Hyunju unni, Junho, Junghyun and Byungsoo. Life's good!

While I didn't accomplish much academically today, I did what I had been putting off for the longest time: expenses totalling on my excel sheet, packing my room and stuff.
Received my oatmeal long-sleeved t-shirt from Gmarket
My day only began at 5pm when I met Jaehyun at Anam Station. Alex was there waiting for Seunghee so we chatted for awhile and he considered me half a person because I'm short :(
Jaehyun brought me to Coex Mall for a really delicious bulgogi dosirak 불고기 도시락 (lunch box) in Hyundai Department Store's food court. While it was pricey at 7,900KRW, I love the taste of the bulgogi so the next time you're in the food court in Coex Mall, check out Stall no. 1! In Korea's food courts, order and payment is made at a central counter and you'll be given a slip with your order number. When your number shows up on the TV screen, proceed to the relevant counter to collect your food and after eating, you should return your tray to the tray return area.
After dinner, Jaehyun brought me to Bongeunsa Temple 봉은사 (his KUBA mission for this month), which is just 5 minutes' away from Coex Mall, and Hangang. Initially,  I was wondering why he would bring me to a temple. I mean like, what's so special about a temple? But when I stepped foot into it, I realised how beautiful it is. It's really a good place to go to for some respite from the hustle and bustle of life in a busy city. A beautiful traditional place right smack in the midst of modernization. I love the Hangang too and this time round, Jaehyun brought me to the Cheongdam side of Hangang, which I've never visited before. I was always at Yeouido so it's nice to see the river from another side. Jaehyun and I had a nice long walk, albeit in the cold (with my thin blazer), and we had odeng (fishcake), dumplings and rice cake :)
I love Seoul
Hyundai building which won an architecture award

I love this photo! Thanks Jaehyun for taking such a great shot :)
Texting while waiting for a subway train to appear

Dumplings

Delicious!

Outfit for the night: Khaki/beige blazer (which I wanted to return to Gmarket initially), black tank dress (5,000KRW; Edae), stockings (from Mummy), black ankle boots (55,000KRW; Myeondong), Chanel brooch, Chanel earrings, Longchamp Le Pliage bag

Jaehyun accompanied me to the subway station and before he left, he provided me with subway directions. But sadly, I was too engrossed with playing a game on my iphone when I was transferring subway lines and actually took the train from the wrong direction -.-, even though Jaehyun had specifically told me to go down the stairs on the right side. Great job, Clara!
