[Part 2] 065. Study Clara!

Today, I studied for the first time since I arrived in Seoul, and maybe for the 1st time in 6 months.
I found myself staring at the many blanks in my lecture notes which I didn't fill in for a multitude of reasons: didn't bring or print my lectures notes so I took down notes on random pieces of paper which I have since thrown away, talked to Jeannie and never paid attention, stoned or daydreamed until class ended, etc. Thank goodness for Junho oppa who saved me with the answers to the blanks. I'm taking the same Corporate Finance class as him and Junghyun unni. Perhaps, we should study together! I used to be a good student but over the years, things changed for the worse.

I had dinner with Alex at the Chinese restaurant below Zechy's place and it was the first time the 2 of us had dinner together alone. We should do this more often, brother! As usual, dessert comes after dinner, here in Korea, and we had ice cream at Baskin Robbins before he had to rush off for a group project meeting in school. I realised that when left on my own, I eat less or sometimes, nothing. Food's never a priority for me. It's only when people ask me out that I eat properly or have proper meals; if not, I'll have a small packet of biscuits or not eat at all. In fact, back in NUS, I rarely had proper meals. When left on my own i.e. no lunch dates, eating something from the Middle Eastern stall or the Yong Tau Foo stall was a once in a blue moon affair, say once every 2 months? Dinner before Korean class was peanut butter waffle from the Arts canteen for $0.80. Other than that, I had buns from the snacks stall in between classes when I was dying from hunger. That's how I lived. And during my internship, when my boss wasn't around, I almost didn't eat for lunch, except for some pieces of bread (leftover from my breakfast), yoghurt or biscuits. But most of the time, he was around and we had lunch together almost everyday and that's how I gained weight during internship. Thanks, boss! I gained weight and your wallet became lighter! Hahahaha, but I certainly do miss the internship I had this summer with a really nice boss (can't believe I was so lucky), colleagues, fellow interns and a really interesting research project! And of course, the fact that I had my Korea exchange to look forward to after my internship ended. I think this year will be my best year ever with many beautiful memories created, I'll always remember the year I was 21.

Alright, enough of my emo-ness and back to the books. I'm the least prepared in the whole class. This cannot continue.
