I hate it when it rains. I hate it even more when I'm in Myeongdong on a rainy day. Why are there so many typhoons??? This time round, Korea was affected by Typhoon Fanapi in China which pushed rain clouds towards us.
Anyway, I realised today that Myeongdong is actually very near to Anam. I left Anam at about 10.15am and by 10.35am, I was in Myeongdong already and 25 minutes early!

After meeting Jimmy, we checked out 2 optician shops and he got his Ray-ban. I felt tempted to get a pair of Ray-ban shades but I don't think they suit my face shape. Chanel/Dior/Prada shades are too expensive as well and I should just spend that amount on clothes instead. I haven't done my expenses-tallying for far too long and I've a feeling that I've already exceeded my budget for shopping. Anyway, our plan for the day was to shop but because of the rain which brought about much inconvenience, we went for lunch before having dessert in Tea'Us Cafe and watching Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D. Tickets were quite pricey...13,000KRW for the movie ticket and 6,500KRW for a popcorn set. It was my 1st time watching a movie in 3D and I didn't get a headache as I thought I would. Some scenes were quite gory and I jumped at one scene -.-

I didn't know that MT (which stands for membership training) means drinking and drinking games session. Thank goodness Jeannie and I didn't go for the KUBA MT yesterday! I would have died from over-consumption of alcohol and I don't even like to drink in the first place.
On my way back to Anam, I felt really good because I helped 2 Black/African guys in the train station. They wanted to go to Moran 모란 but didn't know how to get there. I've never heard of Moran before so I didn't know which line it was on and called Jeannie to seek help because I had forgotten to bring out my subway map in hard copy. All I had was my small little map in my handphone which makes searching for a station really difficult when I don't even know which line it is on. Eventually, I managed to find the station on the yellow line using one of the guys' handphones so I wrote out the directions for them. I didn't know that there is a search function for the subway map in Korean handphones. Anyway, I made 2 persons' day and I made my own day as well :) They thought that I was a Korean with a British accent... It was my second time hearing someone tell me that I have a (slight) British accent. I don't have a British accent! I'm 100% Singaporean with a Singaporean accent. In fact, I didn't even know that my Yonsei buddy, Yong-June spoke with a British accent and not an American accent.
I met up with Jeannie for dinner at the eatery where we had our dinner on our first night in Anam. The soup was too salty for my liking. |

At around 1am, Jeannie skyped me to ask if I wanted McDonalds delivery. She came up to my room, placed the order and when our food was delivered, we went to the kitchen on my level to eat. Anyway, always check your food when it's delivered because we only checked when we were in the kitchen...and found that we were given 1 straw for 2 drinks and a burger set when we had ordered 2 nuggets sets. After a call to the delivery guy, Macs did some verification, called us back and delivered 2 nuggets sets to us so basically, we had a free burger set. What a way to get free stuff!
We ate, talked, FBed, blogged and photoshopped all the way till 7am before crashing! I can't believe we stayed up till so late! Hahahahahaha. I'll certainly miss nights like this with Jeannie! Anyway, we can only do this when there's no school the next day.
