OMG!!!! I woke up this morning to receive an email from my Yonsei buddy, Yong-June! If you guys read my past entries for last year, you'll know him. I lost contact with him for over a year and I managed to find his email address recently so I emailed him and today, I received a reply. He's now in Nepal doing volunteer work but will be back either in November or December so I'll get to meet him then! Excited :)
I had a group meeting in Myungbak Lee Lounge in LG-Posco this afternoon for my Management Strategy class. It was my first group meeting in KU and as expected, most of the group discussion was done in Korean. Thank goodness, I could understand bits and pieces of the conversation but poor Nandar couldn't understand most of it!
I didn't take much photos today because I didn't bring my camera along so I had to settle with my handphone's camera :( I should have brought it out! But then again, my plan for the day wasn't confirmed so I didn't want to lug it around unless I knew that I would need it. After my meeting, I met up with Sean for drinks at Coffee Bean before we took a nice stroll around Anam area and went to the Science Campus to play the piano. I think I should go to the Science Campus more often. It's so near to Co-m Livingtel and there's a really big grand piano in the lounge. I just need to lay my hands on some scores! It's funny how a sweater drew us closer and Sean's a really nice older brother/friend to me :) He's a talented pianist and vocalist as well and I love his rendition of The Scientist. When I figure out how I can transfer media files from my handphone to my laptop, I'll post up videos of his performance I took today!
We met up with his friend, Martin, for dinner at the same Chinese restaurant that Yuhong and I went to yesterday for lunch. This time round, we ate sweet and sour pork and some other spicy dish (I'm bad with food names) and the food was delicious! That Chinese restaurant is now on my go-to list when I don't know where to go for a meal. Post dinner, we went to a DVD room and watched the Korean version of "The Good, the Bad and the Weird"/"좋은 놈 나쁜 놈 이상한 놈". The movie's not bad and Lee Byung Hun 이병헌 looked so hot!
