You know, I really like my room in Co-m Livingtel because I've gotten used to it BUT there are 2 things that really really really irk me.
Firstly, for some unknown reason, the lady in charge likes to switch OFF the central air-conditioning system AT NIGHT when almost everyone is back and switch it ON DURING THE DAY when almost everyone is out. It doesn't make sense at all! Shouldn't it be the other way round? I'm fine if it's windy at night and there is, at least, some breeze. But the heat was unbearable last night. To think that I thought once I buy a new pillow, I can have uninterrupted sleep. Now I know that having a pancake of a pillow isn't the only culprit behind my lack of sleep and constant tiredness here. It's the lack of air-conditioning and another factor which I will subsequently elaborate upon. Have you ever seen someone lying on the bed, trying to sleep yet simultaneously desperately fanning herself with a paper fan to cool down because even though the window was open, there was no breeze at all? I'm fed up because I'm paying so much more for this place (which has a puny writing table too) as compared to a room in CJ International House and I don't get air-conditioning when I need it.
Secondly, there is construction work going on in the buildings on the left and right of Co-m Livingtel. I don't hear much noise coming from the one on the right but the building on the left is right across my window and construction work starts from 6am+. And I hear guys shouting too. Come on, please let me sleep! I'm sorry that I'm so whiney but I'm really pissed off! It's not just the noise level too, it's the dust. Because the air-conditioning system is switched off, I have to open my window. And because the window is open, the noise level is higher and my room is dustier and my noise is dirtier too and I have to clean it almost everyday (pardon my frankness). Maybe it's all in the mind and all I need to do is to convince or brainwash myself...if I think that it's not hot, it won't be hot; if I think that it's not noisy, it won't be noisy. If only things are this easy. Dear Lord, please let me survive the next 4 months!
I got another Gmarket package today: a bag organizer. I made the purchase on Sunday night; on Monday, it was mailed out and I received it today :) So efficient! I love shopping on Gmarket in Korea because I get my items really fast :)

Last Thursday, Jeannie and I were supposed to go to Kyungwon University 경원대 to visit Leegeun 이근 and his clique, called Leegeun's family/근Fam/근팸 but all thanks to the rain, we postponed our visit till today and it was FUN! The journey to Kyungwon University took about 1 hour via subway and we had to transfer lines twice. We met Leegeun and his clique outside the subway station and they brought us on a mini school tour before we went for dinner at this really cool eatery where the boss went around playing scissors paper stone with his customers. If you win, you get a free drink; if you lose, you have to eat a piece of green pepper with some spicy stuff on it. Hunghak won the 1st round so we had a free bottle of soda. When we finished the bottle of soda, Leegeun decided to play with the boss (after Sooyeon egged him to do so) but he lost and was made to eat the green pepper. However, he did not give up and tried again and WON us another drink :) Thank you, Leegeun! You're so nice :) Later on, the boss played the game with a female dinner at another table and instead of making her eat the green pepper after she had lost the game, the boss gave our table and the table behind us a bottle of soft drink each on her tab.

Waiting for the subway train
We actually parted ways quite early because the guys stay quite far away. Most of them stay in Suwon! |

The weather is getting cooler which means Autumn is coming!!! Alright, I'm really tired and it's now 2.15am. I'm supposed to go to the gym tomorrow and I'm not sure if I can wake up early :( I will try to write better blog entries soon! I'm so lethargic these days and not quite in the mood to blog. Hopefully, the break next week will provide me with the necessary recharging!
