[Part 2] 054. A day with Jaehyun, Jeannie and the Kim Family

This afternoon, I had lunch with Jaehyun and Jeannie at Della Pasta, an Italian restaurant near McDonalds in Anam and the set we had was delicious! We went to 58 deg c with the intention of getting bubble tea and eating the mooncake the boss said he would bring for us but the shop was closed :( Hence, we went to the cafe in Centennial Memorial Samsung Hall for strawberry shaved ice bingsu.
Such a nice photo taken by a good photographer :)
"Look at that!" "What? There's nothing!"
Alright, I saw the rainbow :)
Jeannie and I were too lazy to take the subway all the Bucheon because that meant changing lines twice with a high possibility of not having seats on the train so we chose the bus route: subway to the Express Bus Terminal before taking bus 9800 to Bucheon. We got seats on the bus and slept for nearly an hour! Oh yes, and I saw a gorgeous pair of Ferragamo leather gloves in Shinsegae! Alas, it's not something I'll ever be able to purchase.
Outside Shinsegae
We arrived in Bucheon around 4pm and spent time looking for ginseng to buy for Youngjin's family. Homeplus was closed because there was a fire incident there last week while Kim's Club in New Core didn't sell the ginseng gift sets anymore as they were for Chuseok :( So we eventually got a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake for them.
Taehun was so happy to see us when we stepped into the apartment and he was just as nice to us as he was the last time we went back. He also manhandled the family dog as he did then and it kept trying to bite him.
Back in Youngjin's place, we watched cartoons (because of Taehun) and his mother gave us lots of food to eat! I was just lamenting to Jeannie the other day that I didn't get to eat much songpyeon here and today, I had a huge portion serving. Dinner was also very delicious and I definitely missed 어머님's cooking! After dinner, we went to New Core where Jeannie and I bought a jacket and a coat respectively from Spao. My checkered coat was priced at 129,900KRW but as part of a previous season sale, I bought it for 39,900KRW!

Hi Clara, I've been a silent (but avid) reader of your travel blog and just to say keep it up with the photos because they always bring back good memories for me since I was in Seoul in July to look for my bf who was on summer exchange at KAIST.

Anw, love your get up in this entry, especially the black/white blazer! I wished shopping on Gmarket is as easy in SIN as it is in Korea because I always have problems figuring out the names of the items.

Sidenote, I'm Ya Ting. Nice to have chanced upon your web. Do enjoy yourself :)

Hello Ya Ting!
Thank you for supporting my blog and I hope to take better photos, especially now that the weather's perfect :)
Thank you; the cardigan is really cheap! Just 9,900KRW from Gmarket. Oh yes, that's true but shopping on Gmarket can certainly be addictive! And the best thing about Gmarket is that it sells items found in Edae, Myeongdong, Hongdae, etc for less!
