I have a feeling that the lady in-charge-of this building switched off the central air-conditioning system and ran back to her hometown. She probably thought that no one would stay here during Chuseok and well, thanks, I'm still here! So because I have no air-conditioning, I have to open my window and it's so cold outside! The weather here is amazing. On Monday, it was so hot and it felt like summer, just like back in Singapore. On Tuesday, it rained all day long. Today, it is cold! The temperature now is about 17 degree celsius.
Anyway, I'm so glad to be able to stay home all day and just slack and chill out. Such days don't come by often because I'm normally too busy doing other stuff outside, meeting friends and shopping. I can't do this often either because I don't want to waste any time spent in Korea. I don't want to regret (even though I know I will) so I should try to live each day as fully as possible.
I skyped with my parents in the night over mooncakes. They were eating mooncakes while I could only stare with a drooling mouth. But it's funny how my parents are getting so Koreanified. They ate mooncakes and songpyeon 송편 with makkori 막거리. I am in Korea now and I've only eaten 1 songpyeon but they had a whole packet of it. I don't watch TV here either so it's been my parents who have been feeding me with information about the weather in Korea. haha.
