[Part 2] 031. 1 September 2010 Wednesday

I woke up with a sore throat :( Hence, I suggested going to Bonjuk near our place for brunch...in the end, 3 of us shared a bowl of beef mushroom porridge! We'll never ever do that again because we had 4 classes from 12.30pm all the way to 6.15pm with only 15 minutes in between classes and we nearly DIED of hunger. Our stomachs took turns making their presence heard.

Interesting junction
You can walk diagonally across!
Given my low sexy husky voice and random spurts of dry cough, I didn't participate in the class discussions at all and time passed really slowly today. I forgot that we're supposed to go to another website to download our notes for Management Strategy so I thought that there weren't any notes and we went for class empty-handed. And Yuhong printed the wrong set of lecture notes for our Corporate Finance class so we didn't have notes for that class either. So this was our 3rd day of school.
Post-school was more exciting because I met HyunJu unni! HyunJu unni was in Singapore for a year long exchange with NUS Business School in 2008/2009 and she's my first Korean friend! I was really happy to meet her again after meeting her only once last year in July when she brought me to Insadong together with HyunJi (her sister) and her friends. Today, she brought her high school best friend with her, Sunhwa, and we had a great time in Bennigan's 베니건스, a Western food restaurant, in Daehangno 대학로. Thank you, HyunJu unni for the treat! Daehangno is actually really near to Anam and the bus journey on bus no. 273 took less than 20 minutes. But the bus driver was so weird because halfway during the journey, he suddenly shouted to all the passengers to ask us to keep our volume down or something. That was scary!

It was raining when we left the restaurant (guess the typhoon has hit) :( I really hate it when it rains! Despite the rain, we made it to a photo shop where we took stickers (the Korean word for neoprints as we call it in Singapore). Last year, I also took my one and only stickers with HyunJu and this year, we took one more again :) It's so cool that we can borrow the props and I was a Minnie Mouse without ears for awhile. And better still, the photos taken can be sent to you so that you can have a soft copy as well! I need to take another set of stickers photos in a hanbok before I leave Korea!
We left our mark behind. Spot us if you can!
Alright, I should sleep soon. Investments at 10.30am tomorrow -.-
