This morning, it was 14 deg celsius so Jeannie and I got ready for a cool day. It's interesting, observing the Koreans' dressing for today because some people were dressed for autumn while some were still dressed for summer. Outside the Woodang Hall, we saw one guy all bundled up and in LG-Posco, I met Byungsoo oppa who was wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt, shorts and slippers. Haha. We're still in the transition phase. Inside the business school, it was HOT because the heaters were turned on -.- I hate heat. Anyway, Jeannie and I went to school to meet Alex to work on our International Market Watch presentation which is scheduled for Monday.

After our meeting, we went to Myeongdong for shopping and lunch at the porridge eatery we went to when we first arrived in Korea last year. Jeannie picked out a nice knit sweater for me from F21 :) She knows my style so well! Myeongdong was full of tourists and the good weather meant more pushcarts out in the street and most were selling imitation goods. Rather tempting, I would say, but I'll
always go for the originals (I believe). We managed to conduct our Consumer Behaviour class's observation study as well, in a record time of 30 minutes. We were supposed to record our observations from 3-5pm but we managed to make 30 observations within half an hour so we were out in a jiffy. It was terrible observing passer-bys/would-be-patrons of a restaurant in a cafe opposite because we could only get a good view of the restaurant from the smoking room of Angel-in-us Coffee Cafe. Initially, I thought it wasn't that bad and maybe I could get used to passive smoking for just awhile, just for my project. But it wasn't long before I felt I was bursting and we hastily wrapped up our observations and ran out of the smoking room. Goodness, I can never understand smokers :(

I fell in love with a pair of black belted ankle boots but it was too pricey and it was Jeannie who stopped me from carelessly spending my money, even though I still feel like getting it. Many have told us that we're miles and miles apart. So different yet it's funny how we can be such close friends. I'm certainly glad for a friend like her and I would have been homesick a long time ago, if not for her being with me! We're opposite yet we can complement each other. She keeps me grounded.

For shoes, I prefer to buy them from stores instead of online because I can't try the shoes and see the quality. I shouldn't be rash, I should check out Edae and other areas first! Anyway, my oxford wedges started hurting after awhile because I didn't wear them with socks or stockings and it started cutting into my left foot. Dearest Jeannie offered to swop shoes with me which I promptly accepted. We had Andong steamed chicken 안동찜닭 for dinner for 17,000KRW and it was sooooo spicy. Something my mum will definitely love, but not me!
