[Part 2] 047. Meeting with Sungkyoo oppa 성규오빠 and Junho oppa 준호오빠

Plans to go to Carribean Bay today were foiled because there were only 2 of us: Yuhong and I. The other Singaporeans couldn't make it :( So instead of Carribean Bay, Yuhong and I went to Ewha Women's University shopping area and Yongsan.
As I had a lot of time this morning before we met (because Yuhong postponed the meeting time by 30 minutes), I decided to act Korean and took many selca shots with my handphone. Never-before-seen photos of myself and I'll never post such photos again. haha. You can only achieve such nice effects without any major photoshopping (except for brightness and contrast) with a Korean handphone camera.  However, because I'm using a Mac, I can't use the Mobilesync application to transfer my photos from my handphone so I can only take photos of photos :(
We had a delicious lunch at the Chinese restaurant just below Zechy's hostel, Isak Livingtel...ja jang myeon for only 4,000KRW!
My main purpose of going to Edae was to look for the 1st shop of Hair Messe where I had my curls done last year because I prefer my curls done by my hair stylist there. The perm I had in August was at the 2nd shop, not the 1st shop. Unfortunately, we walked many many rounds around Edae and weren't able to find the 1st shop so I went to the 2nd shop and asked where the 1st shop is, only to be told that the 1st shop has been closed and my previous hair stylist has gone to another salon :(:(:( Since we went all the way to Edae, I decided to get my hair done there, instead of trying out the recommendations Jaehyun gave me in Sungshin Women's University area (some other time, perhaps!) I wanted to have my fringe cut and permed, as well as my length trimmed and my hair thinned. The main hair stylist who attended to me found the horrible tangle in my hair and she asked what happened, to which I had no answer. It just happened. Attempts to untangle my hair failed so she had to snip off the affected area :( As for my fringe, the hair stylists did something to my fringe...but it doesn't seem permanent because it was done in less than an hour! I wanted to have a hair treatment done as well but with the communication barrier, somehow, she didn't do the treatment for me :( I'll get it done with Jeannie some other time! Yuhong also had his hair cut there, for 10,000KRW. Mine cost 20,000KRW.
Having a hair cut made me feel like a new person... it made me happier and it led me to purchasing a pair of grey oxford wedges, a green chiffon blouse, a printed skirt and a red chiffon tunic in the span of 30 minutes -.-
At Yongsan, we managed to find ETland, something like Sim Lim Square, where Yuhong wanted to buy a flashlight but the prices weren't good and there was no stock for a brand new Canon Japan flashlight so he didn't buy it in the end. The next time we go to Yongsan, we should go with a Korean because my competency in the language is really limited and halfway, I had to make a phone call to Byungsoo oppa for help in translating what the seller was trying to tell me! We did window-shopping in I-park Mall and had cheese sticks and drinks at Lotteria before meeting Sungkyoo oppa 성규오빠 at the subway station.  I saw a really nice white tweed jacket but it costs 248,000KRW ㅠㅠ Sungkyoo oppa was an exchange at NUS last year and he helped me a lot with my Korean homework and assignments. He was also my agent for getting Korean tuition kids! I wanted to treat him to dinner but he paid for ours :( So I treated him to ice cream at Baskin Robbins after dinner. He has already graduated and is now working as a trader, which explains why he wore a suit.
Please pardon my horrible face...it's hard taking self shots!
We went back to Anam and wanted to meet Junho but he was only free after 12am so in the meantime, we went to Coffee Bean for drinks and chatted before Junho joined us later.
Thank you for the drink!
I had a HTH talk with Sungkyoo oppa and Junho oppa at a 숙집 near KU main campus...we talked mainly about love and associated theories. I'll remember what you guys told me :) Never to trust Korean guys and not to misinterpret kind gestures as love interest because Korean guys are just kind by nature? Hahahaha. I'll be careful and wary of all Korean guys except you two and Byungsoo oppa! Hahahahahaha. The 3 of you are my oppas :)  I drank too much today. I feel like I'm floating!
Luckily I told them about my trip to Nami Island on Sunday because they told me that I have to reserve tickets (possibly bus tickets and Junho oppa will help me check up on that). Phew! Imagine if no one had told me about the requirement of tickets and reservation before hand...
Everyday, I lament the fast passing of time. I have only 3 months+ left in this country...Nooooooo!
Life has been so great here, meeting up with friends whom I haven't met for half a year to one year and making new friends and meeting up with them. Having the liberty to go out as and when I wish and even having 2 bodyguards escort me to my hostel!
Thank you Sungkyoo oppa for my drink, once again!
This picture doesn't accurately reflect the redness of my face :( not only was my face red, but my whole body too!
How's my new hairstyle, Mel?

Hey clara! How's your hair after washing? Is it hard to maintain the shape?? Looks good in the photos. And it looks like you will look nice with short hair too i.e. if you cut of the curled ends below your shoulders! haha

Hey! My hair's bad after washing because it's dry like wild grass! It's definitely difficult to maintain the shape which was only achieved by blow drying and on my own, I never ever blow dry it!
Yup, I'm considering having short hair next year! Thank you :)
