I love Olive Young. When I first saw it, I thought it was just another convenience store, something like Watson's and definitely not the place to buy food because it's definitely more expensive than getting from the other convenience stores such as GS25, Mini-stop, Buy the way, etc. But NO. It's cheaper to buy biscuits from Olive Young, especially when there are sales (quite frequent, by the way). However, the downside is the limited range of biscuits available for purchase. It's just 1-2 minutes away from my place, sells makeup and skincare brands such as DHC, Neutrogena, Canmake Tokyo, Clio, Maybelline, etc. But a new reason why I like it is because it stocks up on perfume brands such as Chloe! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE fragrances by Chloe. My friends around me know that and they can smell Chloe on me everyday. Smelling the fragrance makes me happy. Ever since I got my 75ml bottle from Doota in Dongdaemun for 90,000KRW, I have never stepped out of Co-m Livingtel without it, except when I was in Jeju when I didn't want to bring my bottle along.

Today, I found Love, Chloe in Olive Young. I tried it and fell in love with the fragrance and its vintage-like packaging. The 30ml bottle looks so cute and a deodorant spray will be great too, just that my gym membership package ended today :(
It's 89,000KRW for the 30ml and 109,000KRW for the 50ml one. But I just found out the Krisshop is selling the 50ml for $111 so I could do a pre-order before my flight. BUT I think my mum will kill me for buying another bottle of perfume when I haven't finished the 3 bottles I have now :(
YW and I had lunch at my favourite noodles place 멸치국수 near school- I had 김치말이 for 4,000KRW. Earlier in the day, I had received a text message from Anam Fitness 안암 휘트니스, informing me that today is the last day of my gym membership and even wished me happiness and good health. I thought my membership expires tomorrow and not today so I was planning to head to the gym tomorrow and also collect my sports shoes from my locker. Today, being the 2nd day of my period, isn't quite a good day to work out either because I don't have the mood to run. Since I had miscalculated, I headed to the gym after lunch to collect my shoes and also took some photos for my upcoming blog feature on life in Anam which includes how to use the gym in Korea. Stay tuned for that upcoming entry (alright, I have no idea when I will have the time to do a proper writeup) so for now, you can refer to my captions for more information. At least I had a great workout yesterday...which turned out to be my last here.

| I just discovered today that these lockers are more for bathing stuff than for shoes which are placed on top -.- You have to change into the gym attire provided. |

Back in my room, I tried to study but failed with my laptop being the no. 1 source of distraction. I didn't want to go to a cafe to study because I wanted to save money but it seems like I have to choose between doing well for my exams and saving money. It's cafe time tomorrow.
Also, I discovered why the painkillers I got yesterday weren't effective...because they weren't painkillers! I thought that the 6,000KRW I paid for the medication yesterday was for painkillers but it turned out that the pharmacist sold me a box of painkillers for menstrual cramps for 3,000KRW and some supplements or maybe iron tablets or something for another 3,000KRW. I thought that the medicine in the loose packets were the painkillers and she probably gave them to me for free, part of Korea's "service" culture but they weren't painkillers. What's wrong with me these days? -.- Anyway, I tried the "real" painkillers and they're quite effective!
The Singaporean girls met up again i.e. Beatrice, Minqi, Jeannie and I and we headed to Otsal for a delicious Indian dinner of chicken briyani, regular chicken curry and butter naan for 11,000KRW per person. Good stuff :)

Yuhong's the best...seriously. Less than 20 minutes after I got back to my room to study, he skyped me and asked me to go for desserts with him. I thought he was alone so I agreed on the condition that he treated me to ice cream since I was running low on cash and just waiting for Phyllis to save me. He asked me to meet him at Coffee Bean and to call when I arrived. I did and...he told me to look for Sin Sin because he was still on his way. It was then that I realised he wasn't alone afterall, which meant I could have stayed in my room and not go out! I met Sin Sin outside Coffee Bean and she was so surprised to see me. She asked me what I was doing there. Actually, I was studying my notes while waiting for Yuhong and she thought I just randomly decided to study on the street -.- Sin Sin wanted to have dinner because her class ended late and asked Yuhong who asked me along too. So off I went with them to 서래 where they had a BBQ dinner while I studied and smelled like BBQ too. I tried to hide my outerwear behind me to prevent them from getting the smell. And of all things, the Koreans at the next table just had to smoke too. Thanks. So I had BBQ and cigarette smoke on me. My only consolation, or return, from accompanying them was being treated to ice cream after that.
I don't want to have anymore BBQ meals. I hate the lingering smell on me and my clothes!
