[Part 2] 124. Express Bus Terminal and the case of a pair of missing jeans (my mother's, in fact!)

I don't know why but I love to shop at the Express Bus Terminal. More for Shinsegae and Accessorize there but somehow, the underground shopping area was rather empty today so it was more breathable than usual. On most other days that I've been there, both weekdays and weekends, that area is so packed with people that it gets really hot and suffocating and I can never stand being in there for too long. I saw some really cheap knitwear...some for even 10,000KRW! I managed to find the grey arm warmers that I wanted for only 7,000KRW, much cheaper than Gmarket! If you're looking for cheap clothes and accessories to buy, check out the Express Bus Terminal's underground shopping area on a Friday night.

Dinner was some rice cake that I bought from Shinsegae's food basement, 3 packets for 10,000KRW, but I got quite sick of them after awhile. I think the ones my mum buys from the rice cake shops near Shop n Save in Beauty World or Square 2 are much nicer than the ones I got from Shinsegae! And they were pricey too :( I was thinking that I've spent nearly 5 months here and had not eaten a single rice cake which I normally eat in Singapore so I wanted to try some here. Now, I think I should just eat them in Singapore. Anyway, the reason why I went to the Express Bus Terminal after a short project meeting with Junhyeok in school was to buy Kiehl's Acne Blemish Control and Herbal Spot treatment for a huge pimple which has just popped out, from Shinsegae, but BOTH products are not available in Korea -.- I wanted to buy them from Kiehl's in Lotte Department Store in Lotte Hotel yesterday but was quite put off by the queue just to enter the store area and buy the items which I already know that I want. So yes, no remedy for my face :(

Today was a failed study day. I woke up at 12pm, which meant that I obviously didn't make it to the gym :( Well, I expected it because I only slept at 5.30am after clearing my previous backlog of entries. I intended to stay in my room till my meeting but Jeannie asked me to join her and Yuhong for lunch at the eatery in front of our place. So off I went in my unkempt state with makeup from yesterday still on my face :( And of all times, I had to meet someone I knew as Jeannie and I were walking down the slope -.- Back in my room after lunch, I went into the domesticated mood and started packing my clothes to keep and to send back (a lot, by the way), packed my room, even vacuumed it and wiped my table with dettol wipes! AND...I made a HUGE discovery: my Lee jeans are missing. Actually, they aren't even mine. They are my mum's! The last time I wore them was on 1st August for my flight to Korea. After arriving in Korea, it was soooo hot that I never wore it again. If I'm not wrong, I passed them to Youngjin's mother to wash when I was in Bucheon and I'm not sure whether I packed them back into my luggage. All along, I had the impression that they were sitting in my luggage but lo and behold, after I had packed my whole room, they were nowhere to be found -.- This is FANTASTIC. My mum's going to kill me and I don't have any other pants that are thick enough to last me for winter! Where the hell is it?????
By the time I was done with cleaning my room, it was time to bathe and get ready to go to school. So other than going to school for a meeting and shopping at the Express Bus Terminal after that, I didn't get to work on any academic stuff today :(

As much as I tell myself not to think about 7 January, I can't help feeling a little sad. I mean while I'm smiling and happy when I'm with... inside, I really feel like crying. It's possible to feel happy and sad at the same time, just to varying extents for both feelings.
