I was so hungry during my Consumer Behaviour exam today that I had to pinch my abdominal area to prevent my stomach from growling after it did so twice. How embarrassing :( In fact, I left the exam room early because of my hungry stomach. I only checked my paper once! All the things one does as an exchange student :( I've never ever left the exam hall early for a paper in NUS before but I've done so for every paper I sat here. David, Yuhong and I left the room at around the same time, followed by Jeannie. We were joined by Kenneth who wanted to go to Namsan too as well.
After Jinsung finally came out of the exam room, we headed to an eatery near the side gate for donkatzu. Our initial plan was to have lunch in a restaurant in Namsan Tower but we were all too hungry to make it there for lunch. David and Jinsung treated us to lunch! I'll really miss them :( My favourite project group in Korea University!

Actually, we should have taken a bus to Sungshin Women's University to switch to the blue line to go to Myeongdong but we took the subway. It's more troublesome to take the subway to Myeongdong from Anam because we had to transfer line twice. Alternatively, we could have taken the subway to Euljiro-1-ga but we would have to walk quite a distance to Myeongdong Station. When we alighted at Dongmyo Station, David found out that we could take the yellow bus 3 from Itaewon up to Namsan but his source was from 2004 or 2006. Neither David nor Jinsung was sure of where in Itaewon we could take the bus from and they hadn't seen any yellow buses in Itaewon before so we decided to continue with taking the subway after much deliberation -.- There are 3 colours of buses here I think: blue, green and yellow. I will have to do some research about this before telling you but I wouldn't advise you to take buses here because the bus drivers always seem to be in a rush and if you don't have a seat, good luck. By the end of the bus ride, I bet you'll have an aching arm as the ride tests you of your arm strength to hold on.

From Myeongdong Station, we came out from Exit 4 and walked down towards the bus stop to take Bus no. 5 up to Namsan Tower, the way YW taught me when we went there about 2 to 3 weeks ago. Actually, you don't have to go to Myeongdong Station to take bus 5. You can take the bus from Chungmuro Station or Donguk University as well. I think the best time to go to Namsan is around 4pm on a weekday because you get to see the sunset and there aren't many people around so you can take photos in peace :) Jeannie and I will go back to take more photos there when Phyllis comes to Korea to join us.

Back in Myeongdong, we shopped and walked around until Yuya and Raus joined us. About 1 hour before they came, we went to an Italian restaurant near Converse, "Prima Bacio Baci", to make a reservation for 6. It's the same one that Jeehyun unni and her boyfriend brought Jeannie and I to in Hongdae back in August. This restaurant "chain" has 3 outlets: Gangnam, Hongdae and Myeongdong. Come to think of it, I think Jimmy brought me to the one in Gangnam last month so I've been to all 3. We were only able to get seats at nearly 8pm so we waited in Mister Donut because it was too cold outside.

I really enjoyed the dinner with my closest friends here in Korea and it has been a fantastic 5 months with them (although I only got to know Raus, Yuya and Kenneth better in late October). I will miss the 3 of you! Apart from eating, we spent the greater part of dinner teaching Yuya and Raus Singlish, or rather, swear words in Hokkien, some of which I never knew before. After dinner, we almost threw up when we saw a guy standing by the entrance of the eatery with stuff splattered over his shirt and pants. Initially, I thought that it was the design of his clothes but on taking a closer look, it was vomit. And soon after, he started vomitting. Right by the doorway to the restaurant. Gross! And erm, drunk by 9 or 10pm?

Back in Anam, I got my new boots from Gmarket and wore them to Drogba which was a big mistake because it was crazily crowded inside with drinks spilled on the floor and all. Kristian spilled beer right in front of me and by the time I left the bar, my hair reeked of smoke, my coat had some beer spilled on it, and my boots became sticky with alcohol on the soles. I actually went there with Jeannie but she disappeared shortly after we entered together. Luckily, I found Miika and he directed me to a corner where Jimin and Emi were. That's where I also found Yuya, Kenneth and Eric because they were seated at the next table. Halfway through, I left to meet YW and it was nice walking in school at night when it was snowing. I'll miss nights like this! Who the hell would do this in NUS? The weather's too hot in Singapore :(
Later on, I went back to look for Jeannie and the rest but couldn't find them. They had gone to Armba so I joined them for a sip of Kenneth's drink before calling it a night and coming back to my room while they rest stayed on for a long night of drinking. Not my cup of tea!
Anyway, yesterday and today were the coldest days for the week and after feeling cold for the most of yesterday, I decided to wear more today. 3 layers on top and 3 layers for the bottom but I almost died because of the latter. I wore my black long johns, stockings over and then jeggings over and my legs almost died with a lack of blood circulation!
