For the first time, it's cold in my room even with both windows closed.
It's so cold that even the weather girl has to wear ear muffs (in the studio?) and this is the first time I've seen her wear it since I started following the weather forecast news for the past 2 months. Back in Singapore, I never bothered about the temperature or whether it's going to rain or not because there's just no need to. I don't check the weather forecast. It's just hot and I always bring my umbrella around. But here, the temperature is an indication of how much to wear and my umbrella is too heavy to bring around when I have a heavy DSLR to carry so I only bring it along if it's going to rain. It'll snow today...and for the next 3 days too. Still waiting for my boots from Gmarket! I hope they're nice and suitable for me, if not, I'll return them! Every Korean won counts now...oh the life of an exchange student :(

| min of -12℃ for Seoul today! |
 |
| max of -6℃ |
Time to finally wear the long john! It was -8℃ yesterday night and I only wore a Pull & Bear cotton shirt (thanks Vivek!) and my down jacket. I thought that my newfound jeans would be able to keep me warm but no, they didn't :( I think I'm better off wearing my jeggings. FREEZING, I tell you. On skype, my mum told me to stop acting strong because my lungs might get a chill. What's that? Alright, maybe I remembered wrongly. haha.
I think me having to switch url is a blessing in disguise despite the insane amount of work I had to do because of it...on the day before my exams and for unforeseen personal circumstances because of a plan gone wrong (sigh). I'm such a lousy strategist. Back to my point of why I see it as a blessing in disguise is because I get to interact with you, my dear blog readers, who left comments on my old Wordpress blog :) It's nice to read the comments which are so encouraging! But I do apologise for the sudden "disappearance" and the hard time you spent looking for me and also, for my inconsistency in my style of blogging though because this is a public blog and I can't decide how much I should reveal about myself here so sometimes, I'm conflicted between writing about my feelings or just keeping a distance, being detached and talk about neutral things or just simply, what I do in a day here. But that's quite boring and I'm not sure if anyone can be bothered to read about what I do everyday. But then again, this blog is for me to remember what I did (and maybe what I feel) every day. So...I'll decide what to do after my exam ends tomorrow :)
Anyway, today was the last day of the year spent studying and we sure did it in style, in the cafe that Jeehyun and her bf brought Jeannie and I to back in August. Actually, Yuhong, Jeannie and I went to Hongdae to meet Bernice for lunch before she goes back to Singapore tomorrow. Sangsu Station 상수역 on Line 6 is just beside Hongdae (within walkable distance...like 5 mins?) even though Hongdae Station 홍대입구역 is on Line 2. Since Anam Station is on Line 6 as well, we took the train to Sangsu before walking over to Hongik University's main gate to meet Bernice. Along the way, we passed by Cafe Myoll 호호미욜! The last time Jeehyun brought us there, she had a hard time looking for the cafe because we came from Hongdae side. This time round, we exited from Exit #2 of Sangsu Station and walked in the direction of Hongik University and pronto, the cafe was just along the way! Check it out if you have the time because it's a really nice cafe! I can't say for the food and beverages because I am no food connoiseur and I don't really care about food because my taste bud sucks. I eat almost anything and I choose cafes not for the food and beverages but for the ambience.

We spent the rest of the afternoon in Cafe Myoll where I studied for awhile before getting distracted by the decorations inside the cafe and doing a photoshoot. So much for a planned fruitful study day. I always overestimate my capabilities.

| Jeannie in Hongdae during the day, for the 1st time. This is the first time she had seen NB2 in the day so she had to take a picture with it. |

We had dinner at Burger B which Jeannie had heard much about before heading back to Anam. I love the crunchy fries!
