[Part 1] 191. Cooking at 이 선생님’s place

After lunch at Hwarang Hall in the afternoon, I had 1 hour to pack my stuff in preparation for tomorrow’s trip to Gyeongju before meeting my friends and taking 고 선생님’s car to Gimhae.
Beautiful path along 낙동강
A whole row of cherry blossoms
I could spot my dorm!
In Gimhae
이 선생님’s apartment is really beautiful. It’s the nicest (and probably the most expensive) apartment I’ve been to!
Wide and spacious
Upon arrival, Hung, Bolor, Baby and I started getting to work. Initially, I wanted to make chicken rice but J wasn’t able to get me the pre-mix :( So I ended up as the assistant for Hung and Baby.
Korea’s version of our favourite snack
I chopped kimchi for Hung’s fried rice
Talked to Baby
Watched Bolor

Team B arrived at around 6pm with 양 선생님. Team B had gone to Emart after class to buy the ingredients for tomorrow’s cooking session during our MT at Gyeongju.

Very crowded kitchen

Baby’s rie soto
Bolor’s Mongolian dish
Hung’s fried rice
Really delicious soup base!

After dinner, we had to wash everything up while some ate Hung’s dessert. At 8.30pm, we rushed out of 이 선생님’s apartment, thinking that the last bus back to Sasang was at 9pm but it wasn’t. There were other later timings. Nevertheless, we had to come back early to pack for tomorrow’s Gyeongju trip. We took bus #7355 back to Sasang Terminal for 1,900원 and the journey back was only 15 minutes long because of smooth traffic!
Had a great time with my class and I can’t wait for our next cooking session. I’ll make sure that I have the chicken rice pre-mix by then!
