[Part 1] 122. It’s snowing, it’s snowing AGAIN!

My alarm rang at 7.30am this morning but I actually switched it off and went back to sleep. Woke up at 8.07am with a jolt, panicking because I thought that it was already 9am and that I was late for school. But to my wonderful delight, the moment I checked my phone messages, I gave a loud squeal which woke my roommate up, and promptly bounced out of bed to draw the curtains. School was cancelled because of the snow!!!! Behold the wonderful sight:

It’s so amazing, that just before I slept, there wasn’t a single trace of snow and when I woke up, I woke up to a winter wonderland with a blanket of snow over everything. Despite having seen snow several times since I was young (thanks Mummy and Daddy for bringing us on winter holidays), I’m always fascinated by snow because it’s so different from rain. It’s like sugar icing over everything.

I practically lazed in bed for an hour, alternating between using my phone and checking the view outside

For about 2 hours, I just stayed in my room and slacked, running over to the window every now and then to check out the snow and risking the cold in my tshirt and shorts whenever I opened the balcony door to take photos. Alas, when I finally decided to take some photos in the snow, it had started raining instead :(

Finally used the Cymera app on my phone :) 

Decided to have an early lunch since I was downstairs and kept smelling food.

And he was right. He said Shin ramen’s tasteless but I wanted to try it for the longest time. 

It’s not as nice as the one he had. So much for all the advertising, Shin. 

My new favourite ice cream :) Corn + chocolate!

Spent the afternoon reading up ahead of classes for next week.

In the evening, we celebrated 홉수굴 언니’s birthday in the cafeteria. My classmates talked to her in the cafeteria while we prepared to surprise her with the cake and light the candles. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t light the candles and had to creep into the cafeteria to ask the cafeteria ajummas to help us light the candles with the flame from their gas stove lol.

Oh yeah, all of us are hoping that it’ll snow on Monday and Wednesday morning so that class will be cancelled on both days but…fat hope :(
