Lunch was ramen from 711 even though I said I never want to eat ramen anymore -.-
After lunch, EH and I left for Seomyeon. My initial plan was to head to Centum City but then I figured that I didn’t have to go so far because the E-mart in Centum might not have a better range or variety of food than the one in Sasang which is bigger.
At Lotte Department Store, I spotted Laneige at the beauty counter level for the 1st time! In Korea, Laniege is normally in a stand-alone boutique or in Aritaum, so it was a first for me to see it together with the other beauty brands on the beauty level. I only intended to buy skincare products for my brother but I ended up buying a sleeping pack for myself too. I got ginseng and tea for my parents from the food basement level too before heading to the underground shopping area where I bought a bag for my brother and got cheated of 10,000원 :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
The bag originally cost 65,000원 and we managed to bargain it down to 58,000원 via card and cash. Actually, the SA wanted cash only for that price but I didn’t have enough cash with me so we agreed that I’d pay 40,000원 by cash and the balance of 18,000원 by card. But guess what…I only realised after I was back in my dorm that she had charged me 28,000원 instead of 18,000원 and I didn’t check the amount before I left the shop. OMG. I was soooooooo sad and angry with myself for being so slipshod. The price of 58,000원 was a verbal contract she made and I have no written proof or record of the agreement to pay 40,000원 by cash and 18,000원 by card. I’m not sure if she intentionally or accidentally overcharged me by 10,000원 but whatever it is, this is a lesson to be learnt. Do be careful when shopping in stores in underground shopping centres, Dongdaemun or any non-department stores! Always insist on a receipt (in case you want to make an exchange or get a refund) and get any form of payment arrangement agreed on written down in black and white :(

The SA was so generous in the samples that she gave! Got 10,000원 off for spending above 100,000원 and received a free mask, a pouch and samples.
After leaving E-mart, we were going to walk to the shuttle bus stop to wait for the last shuttle bus for the day when we saw a school shuttle bus right in front of E-mart with people boarding it. Thinking it was the last bus for the day, we ran to the bus only to see ajummas and ajusshis boarding it!
EH went up to ask if the bus was heading back to school anyway and it turned out that the bus driver was the kind ajusshi who had driven us up to Incheon back in October and then us foreign students to PNU for our TOPIK exam last week :)
Actually, the bus wasn’t heading back to school but the bus driver and all the ajummas and ajusshis said they could give us a lift back to dorm!!!! And so, we boarded the bus and kind of took a BIG “taxi” back to dorm. So touched by their kindness :)
By the time we got back to the dorm, the cafeteria wasn’t serving dinner anymore :( And I almost couldn’t make it back to my room because I was carrying so many bags that I had a hard time finding enough fingers to open my door.
We decided to order chicken for dinner and invited Sonya to join us. Surprisingly, our food arrived really fast, in less than 30 mins, I think! The boys (or rather, EH) paid for my dinner because I was too sore about losing 10,000원 for my carelessness :’(

Super delicious!
Back in my room, it was packing time again. I managed to stuff all my purchases into my luggages! But that left me with very little room for any clothes that I want to bring back to Singapore.

I haven’t even put in any clothes into my check-in luggage and it’s already full
Saturday, Sunday, and then Monday, I’ll be home!
I’m not looking forward to the sweltering heat though. I’m loving winter here. I love it cold. I’ll take cold over sweat anytime anywhere.
