But I screwed up the other sections, especially the 듣기 and 읽기 sections. There were so many words that I didn’t know and there just wasn’t time for me to even read the questions properly.
After the exam, I rushed to Seomyeon straightaway for lunch at Lotteria before sinning with a donut at Krispy Kreme. Oops. What happened to my new year resolution of no junk food? Oh wells. But it was good :)
In the late afternoon, we picked YK up from Busan Station before going to Nampodong.
You must go to the Sky Park on the 11th floor of Lotte Department Store if you are in Nampodong! The observatory deck is on the 13th floor and you can only get there via a lift or a flight of steps on the 11th floor. Beautiful view of the sea and Jalgalchi area but it was a little too cold!

We got directions from one of the Accessorize staff to the street where we could buy street food, like the famous 아저씨 호떡 ajusshi hoddeok which Nampodong is famous for. We didn’t know that the brand name was 아저씨 and were wondering why she said 아저씨가 맛있어요 until we saw the food stall lol. From the door of Accessorize, just walk straight down the street (which means you have to cross the road right in front of Accessorize). The food street is near to Jalgalchi Market and the BIFF Square. The queue for the ajusshi hoddeok was too long so we just bought the hoddeok from an adjacent store. Frankly speaking, I can’t tell the difference in taste between the ones in Seomyeon and the one in Nampodong. We went to Artbox to shop before going for oddeng and the ahjumma was so unkind. Service was pretty lousy because she didn’t give us sauce and cups of soup and we had to ask for them. And when she did gave us the soup, she gave us only one cup when there were 3 of us -.-
Next, we had spicy 꼬치 skewers which were too spicy that we had to go to Starbucks for drinks right after that haha.
Accompanied YK to Busan Station and had beer, nachos and chicken at Beer Market, which is just opposite the station. We shouldn’t have ordered the chicken because we got so full! And the nachos weren’t that great either.
We rushed to the train station at 12am but missed the last train which had left at 11.50pm. Boo :(
So we had to take the cab back. The ride back was quite short because there was almost no traffic. 13,200원 for the 20 mins ride back to school but we had to pay an extra 600원 because the driver had to drive up the hill??? Taxi fare has increased wef 1 Jan 2013.
Back in my room at 12.30am, I was really tired but after I removed my makeup, I was very surprised to see my face glowing…I looked better than I did in the morning before I applied my makeup! Normally, after I remove my makeup, I look like crap but my skin was glowing. I can never take nice photos of myself with makeup on so I can’t show you any visual evidence other than my account. And the reason for the glow? The sample of Chanel’s CC cream that I got from Shinsegae last Saturday. I think how it turns out for one is really subjective too because it depends on your skin condition and all so I urge you to drop by the nearest Chanel beauty counter and try the CC cream or get a sample. I’ve loving my sample and I would love a full tube, except that I have to finish up my Etude House BB Cream, Chanel aqua foundation, foundation from Taipei and my unopened Laneige snow BB cream first… sigh.
Oh yes, and I received a card from SL too. Thank you so much! Another blog reader turned dear friend :) Thank you to those who have contacted me and I have met. Thank you for touching my life and connecting with me.
