In the late morning, I left for Ulsan and spent my afternoon studying in a pretty lovely cafe that isn’t part of a cafe chain so it was quite a refreshing change. The service at the cafe was pretty good too.
2 ajusshis came in and talked really loudly in their Gyeongsan dialect. One of them seemed pretty grumpy and seemed like he was starting some verbal war with his poor friend so one of the cafe staff quickly came over to me and asked me to move into the study area which was quieter for me to study in. How nice of her! Which cafe staff will tell you this in Singapore? They don’t even want you to be studying in their cafe in the first place. She even topped up the water for my yuzu tea.
I love the cafes here in Korea. Most of them are split into 2 sections: one for gatherings and another for studying/reading. There was even a meeting room in the cafe which can be reserved for functions. I expect to be back here quite often.

Later on in the night, I went to Megabox to catch 용의자 X which was entirely in Korean with no subtitles but I managed to understand most of it :)
I spent the night in the jjimjilbang again. Really can’t stand the ajusshis who snore so loudly :(
