Class ended at 12pm today (yes!) because we had a Korean Traditional Food Experience from 1.30-3.30pm, which also meant that TOPIK class for the afternoon was cancelled.
During our last period for the day, my Korean teacher showed us 2 videos on making 궁중 (宫中) 떡볶이 royal palace ddeokbokki and 해물파전 seafood pancake so that we knew what to do when we headed to the kitchen after class.
Unfortunately, I didn’t know that the videos were going to be our only recipes and that when we reached the kitchen, we would have to start cooking immediately so... I didn’t pay attention at all and once we were in the kitchen, I basically did the washing only because the guys in my team didn’t trust me anyway -.- But it’s ok, I like washing. Contrary to popular belief held by many in class, I’m no princess at home. I wash the toilet in my room and back in Singapore, I helped my mum during our weekly cleaning session by vacuuming the whole house (3 floors is no joke), cleaning the toilet (scrubbing the table top, sink, walls, glass door and floor) and wiping the tables and windows in my brother’s and my room. We have no maid ok. And I used to scrub (not just wash) the socks for my dad and brother every night for 1 or 2 years before I complained that my brother should be the one doing it because I don’t even wear socks anymore.
Alright, back to the Food Experience: since I didn’t do anything other than washing the ingredients and then the dishes and taking photos, I shall just let the pictures do the talking.
Making our way to the kitchen in another building
Beautiful autumn day
화랑관 Hwarang Hall which has nicer food than the dorm’s cafeteria

I managed to find the ddeokbokki video that my teacher showed us:
After the cooking session, I went to Seomyeon with 2 of my classmates to get stuff in preparation for the cheering that we will be doing tomorrow. 2 of my classmates are participating in the local Busan speech contest and my class will be heading down to City Hall to cheer them on.
But obviously, I got stuck at Seomyeon because of the shopping there. I had actually gone down to Seomyeon on Tuesday after class to shop but was left disappointed because the underground shopping centre was closed for the day :( So I finally had my fix today and went overboard. Oh dear, no savings for this month again.
Pardon my dirty mirror. There’s no point cleaning it anyway since we don’t have a separate shower area in our toilet and the mirror gets wet every time we bathe.
30,000원 chiffon blouse and 5,000원 cotton top
Couldn’t try the tops before buying. Will exchange the one on the right because it’s too thin and the belt seems weird after awhile
Finally received my Casetagram cover on Monday. Really love it except for the fact that it’s not meant for a S3 bought in Korea because my Korean phone has an antennae and is slightly bigger so I have to remove my back cover in order to use the Casetagram cover.
Memories of my Europe grad trip in chronological order
Bought a tea set for daddy and tea for myself and the kind SA gave me free tea bags, mask and a pouch!
Wasn’t exactly a futile shopping trip at Seomyeon on Tuesday because I bought this pretty Zara peplum blouse
