After having a good lunch of curry donkatzu with Jeannie and Yuhong at the eatery near the back gate which Young Woong brought me to before the mid-terms, I got too lazy to go for Korean class :( Instead, I went back to my room to slack for awhile before leaving for Gyeongbokgung and Samcheongdong with Yuhong. We decided not to go into the palace but we had to walk past through its gates to get to Samcheongdong. The last time I went to the palace was on 4th August and within a few months, it got a new gate. I brought Yuhong to the tea place where Dokyung brought me to in September but it was so crowded that we had to sit by the door where we didn't have much of a view :( This time round, I ordered Mango Star Herbal Tea for 7,000KRW which I regretted because it was too sour and tasted weird. I should have ordered the Japanese Apricot Tea which I ordered the last time! Yuhong got Chrysanthemun Tea and we shared a plate of pumpkin rice cake 시루떡 for 7,000KRW.

From the tea place, we walked down to Insadong where we had beancurd dinner for 24,000KRW. The makkori we had there tasted weird and I didn't like it. After dinner, we went to the Homeplus just one stop away from Korea University to shop for groceries. We were joined by Kenneth and later on, we took a cab back to Anam. I had drinks with Junho at midnight in Between the Bar and stupidly ordered Absolut Vodka in Citron, thinking it would be something like Peach Crush but it was far from that and I only drank half a shot. Bad choice!

Hi Clara~
I absolutely love your blog >_<
I've been reading for quite some time, and I've been through every single entry :D
I plan on going to Seoul next February to study, and altough I sent my application to Korea Uni, I don't think I can go there :( so instead I think i'll be going to Yonsei Universitys' UIC :)
I was wondering if you have an msn? I would love to chat with you :D
Hello Mou Chai,
Thank you for your kind support!!! Yonsei's nice! I miss the beautiful campus and its close proximity to Edae and Hongdae. You'll love it there! So don't feel bad or anything if you can't get into KU.
I don't use MSN anymore but I'm on skype. Add me: clara_chua
Have a good week ahead!
Oh I see~
I plan to stay in Muak 학사 instead of the i'house because the hill seems so beautiful, but I'm wondering about the facilities there; like the shared bathrooms and showers, shoe lockers, lounge... are they any good? I mean how would you rate then on a scale of 1 to 10?
and is there a kitchen there that residents can use?
Well, the hill seems really beautiful but you'll have to climb up everyday, even in the rain or snow! The shared bathroom is clean and nice. I didn't use the shoe lockers. The lounge seemed pretty alright but the building is old, compared to ihouse. Maybe 7?
There's a kitchen on the 1st level. No lifts in the building.
