The sudden rain in the evening forced Hyun Ju and I to have our dinner in school instead as neither of us had our umbrellas. We ate at Popeye's and wanted to have dessert at the newly opened outlet of Cafe Bene near CJ House but there were no seats inside :( Which was a good thing actually because we ended up at a much prettier cafe just opposite Cafe Bene. Of course, because we're girls, there's always room for dessert! Stupid me brought my DSLR without my SD card so the following photos are photos of the photos taken with my handphone.

And I saw the first snow for winter this year today! During dinner, I had asked Hyun Ju when the first snow is in Korea. While she said early December, I remembered it was November last year.
After having our desserts, I brought her over to my place to show her my puny room and passed her brand new coldwear that I'll never wear (I'm a fickle-minded shopper). Just as we were outside my place and looking up while I tried to point out my room to her, I saw very fine snow falling! She didn't believe me at first and I thought maybe the strong wind was just blowing styrofoam bits from somewhere but I didn't see any styrofoam around us. The 2 of us were shell-shocked. Snow in Korea on 8 November?!?! Everyone in Anam was oblivious to it but the 2 of us were just shocked beyond words. Global warming, indeed!
Actually, when I saw grey clouds a few days ago, I knew that winter was fast approaching because autumn in Korea is characterized by beautiful blue skies. And true enough, we saw the first snow in Seoul today.
