[Part 1] 015. 16 August 2010 Monday

Poor Taehun was still running a fever this morning so after breakfast, 어머님 and Youngjin's father brought him to the clinic. Jeannie and I left the apartment at about 1pm for Ewha Womans University shopping street.

some kind of bedroom slippers trend in Korea now
Sujeong said these are slippers that they wear in schools instead of shoes to keep the compounds clean but I wonder why they wear them out because that defeats the purpose!
I might go for some kaya toast when I really miss Singapore next time!

I managed to find the black tank top dress I wanted for 5,000KRW! We got hungry around 4pm and as we wanted to eat porridge, I brought Jeannie to my 2nd favourite porridge place only to discover that it has closed down :( luckily, I managed to recall where Bonjuk was and we went there for a very late lunch. I had beef mushroom porridge for 7,000KRW. Perhaps it's a wiser decision to share a bowl next time because Jeannie and I got really full when we were just halfway through the meal.

We went back early to have dinner together with the family. I also managed to obtain Zechy's help to bring my bedsheets and blanket over from Singapore. His flight was at 11.55pm on SQ just like mine on 1 August so I asked my parents to meet him at the airport to pass him my stuff. Jeannie and I are going to meet him at the airport tomorrow morning so after dinner, 어머님 brought us out to show us where to take the airport bus from. Back in the apartment, I finally made my Gmarket purchase, my first for this trip! It was a hassle adding in the address for the place I'm staying at now because the address just couldn't be added when I used my Mac and Jeannie used her Windows laptop. We tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer but to no avail :( Luckily, Youngjin used his dad's laptop to help us and I successfully added my current address to my address book! Phew...I think editing the address book can only be done with a Korean PC/laptop :( I still had a balance of about 107,700KRW in my cash balance which was sufficient for my 107,100+KRW purchases. I hope to receive my items soon!
