We went to Gyeongbokgung Palace at 11am+ and it was really hot. I get flustered and irritated easily when it's hot and that explains the lack of (nice) photos. I will definitely go back to the palace again to explore the place when the weather's much cooler! Entrance ticket cost 3,000KRW. It was great going there with Joanna and Morten who can pose really well as my models.
They wanted to try the traditional costumes (not me because of my horrible dream though Jaeyoung says it's a good dream though) but about 10-15 minutes into queueing, application closed for some unknown reason and they couldn't try the costumes. Morten said maybe my dream was telling me that I can't try on the hanboks and that includes everyone around me.
After 12pm, the heat got so unbearable that we escaped into a cafe for awhile for citron tea.
Morten teaching us the Norwegian way to cool down.
The heat got so unbearable again that we left the palace and we went to Samcheongdong to look for the pretty Beans Bins cafe I went to last year.
And we found it!
The trifle chocolate waffle and green tea frappu that we ordered. Love the frappu!
Planning the itinerary for the day and tomorrow
At Hongdae's Mister Donut for a drink again because of the heat :(
Dinner was at the Nutrition Centre Myeongdong which Jaeyoung unnie and Morten's Lonely Planet guide recommended for Samgyetang or ginseng chicken soup for 13,000KRW. We spent some time looking for the place in the rain and walked one round when it was quite near to our hotel :(
After dinner, we rushed to Cine Plaza in 20 minutes to purchase our tickets for the Jump show. Thank goodness I asked 2 Koreans for directions because according to the map I took from the hotel, Cine Plaza is beside Outback Steak House and I was looking out for the steak house which the Koreans said has been closed down. Phew!
The 80 minutes show was quite nice and our ticket cost 45,000KRW each after a 10% discount. We had ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery before heading back to the hotel for the night. At least it was much cooler at night to walk back!
Morten's in love with green tea anything and everything!
My strawberry banana rendezvous which I shared with Melissa.

Hi, great blog/photos!! I was wondering if you knew how long the walk is from the KLI building to the famous Yeonhui Hall building. Thank you!
