I only had 3 hours of sleep before waking up at 3am to get ready to meet the rest at 3.30am and then setting off at 4am. By the time we reached the University of Incheon, it was almost 9am.
After the opening ceremony, we went to a sports stadium nearby where we had lunch before our Typhoon team played its first match. Us supporters were as nervous as the players and we really screamed our lungs out to cheer for them. Since we drew for the 1st match, the team had to play one more match and…we WON! But we weren’t the best out of the 4 teams for the group. We were the 2nd and only the best could advance to the semi-finals :( So at 4.30pm, after the 2nd match, we got back into the bus and came back to Busan. Traffic wasn’t too good on our way back. We had dinner at one of the rest stops along the way before reaching Busan slightly after 10pm.
I watched 2 movies on Howard’s phone today during the bus rides: Secret and The Chaser. Totally freaked out by The Chaser and I can’t get the killing scenes out of my head. I hate watching such movies. I get scared and yet I want to watch. And after watching, the scenes remain in my head for a long time and keep replaying over and over again :(
