Yet another long 4 hours in the morning! After Korean lesson, we had a 1 hour break before our cookery lesson and we rushed to the Student Union Building to have our passport-sized photos taken for the making of our student ID cards before heading to the stationery store for our supplies. We had a quick lunch before jogging/walking really fast back to the Korean Language Institute (KLI) for our cookery class at B107 Cooking Studio, for which, we were obviously late.

Cooking class was quite alright, though the instructions given by our instructor were 99% in Korean, and Yong Kang did most of the cooking. As usual, the blur me poured the kimchi into the sauce for the lettuce when I was supposed to leave it separately. And the lettuce sauce I made was too lemony. Oh well, it’s our 1st lesson, and hopefully, I’ll do better next time! Cookery lesson was from 2-4pm and the class was filled with ABKs (America-born Koreans). I wasn’t looking forward to cookery class either. Everyday, I just look forward to where I can go to after school.

Underwood Hall

Today, we went to 시청역 City Hall Subway Station to meet Jeannie, Pauline and Shawn (or is it Sean?).

We went to Deoksugung 덕수궁 Palace and took so many photos.

Jeannie trying to teach me how to smile.

After that, we had a Korean dinner at an eatery before heading to Tous Les Jous to celebrate Jeannie’s birthday (one day in advance).
