This 아저씨 is 1 of the 2 security guards in the Mu-Ak Housing Complex I stay in and he's nicer of the 2. We took turns taking photos with him this morning and Sarah asked him to smile more :p

I tried a new drink in the 어학당 but it was too sweet :(

During 1 of the 3 breaks we had in the morning

After school, I headed to Ewha area with Yong Kang and we had lunch at 본죽. 버섯죽 yet again :)

Back in Hongdae 홍대 in the pretty "Luxury 노래방" with Wan Ling. But this time round, we didn't get any free ice cream and neither did we get 20 minutes of extra singing time. Instead, we only got sweets and 10 minutes of extra singing time, so we concluded that we shouldn't book 2 hours at one shot next time. We should just pay for 1 hour and after the extra singing time given, we'll pay for another hour.

I love the linkway to the other section of the building because it feels so paradise-like.

The pretty walkway to the different rooms

The toilet

My singing partner, Wan Ling. I used to think that going to the 노래방 to sing was a total waste of money but I've since changed my mind because I think it's a great way to improve my speed of reading Korean words.

Walking back to Hongik University Entrance Subway Station

The view from Exit 3 of Sinchon Subway Station, one of the many places/things I'll miss about this trip. This is where we take bus 03 (goes to the north gate 북문 of 연세) or the shuttle bus (goes right to the hostel 무악) from.

Walking up the slope to the hostel, what Sarah and others call, the Mu-Ak mountain 무악산.

Time really flies, and I'm now in the last week of my program with just 3 more days in Yonsei University 연세대. Very soon, I'll start saying, "this will be the last time I'm doing this". I'll be leaving for HOME in about 9 days' time feeling ambivalent. I've already gotten used to life in Seoul, especially the complicated subway system here which comprises of lots of stairs and walking when transfering from one line to another. I'll never complain when I transfer from the North South Line to the North East Line back in Singapore ever again. It just pales in comparison to what I've experienced here in Korea. Also, there is a lack of escalators in the subway stations here so everyone, be thankful for the great MRT system we have!
