What a day. Initially, about 7 other friends wanted to join us for our trip down to Paju 파주's English Village 영어마을. But because of the rainy season 장마철, it rained/drizzled the whole day and only Jeannie and I made it to the Village.
It was a long journey to Paju because I had to take the subway to Daehwa Station 대화 which is 22 stops away from Sinchon Station.

From Daehwa Station's Exit 5, we took Bus 200 to the English Village which was another good 40-45minutes ride.

We made it to the English Village (despite the rain) after postponing our date/appointment a few times :)

The English Village is also a themepark where visitors have to use English and English only. However, because we went on a Sunday, the place was open for visiting but the different stations within the themepark weren't. So if you're thinking of going to the English Village, go on a weekday (but not on a Monday because the place's closed on Mondays) if you want to try out the different stations which mimic real life situations in English.

Lunch at an Italian eatery where each of us had a set meal for 7,000원 which comprised of a slice of pizza, a cheese spaghetti (wasn't that great) and a cup of coke.

I think we spent half the total time we spent at the English Village in the eatery where we just talked and waited for the drizzle/rain to stop.

Guess who I met up with in Ewha 이대? Enyi and Fatimah! We went to a lovely cafe :)

My pretty 15,000원 umbrella from 이대. I was quite sick of the umbrella I brought from Singapore because it flipped so many times during the day and it just couldn't take the wind here in Korea.

I'm amazed by their passion for the flute/band because even in NUS, they're in the orchestra! All the way since RGS Symphonic Band days! I haven't touched my flute for a looooong time :(
