[Part 1] 7. Orientation #2

Today was the last day that we could wake up late on a weekday :(
My roommate and I lazed in our room till lunch time.
Surprisingly, the 된장지깨 at the cafeteria only cost 2,500원! I thought that each meal cost 3,500원 and didn’t know that there are different pricings.
Tired because I slept late :(

Our orientation was held in the Music Building and we reached there in just 10 minutes or so on foot. The International Education Building (where I’ll be having my Korean class) is just beside the Music Building so I can leave my dormitory around 8.30am every morning when school starts proper to ensure that I have time to settle into class.
2 guys from a mobile phone company in Seoul came down to help us settle our Korean phone numbers. There were 2 booths: one that sold prepaid cellphones for around 45,000원 while the other gave out free uSim cards for smartphone holders. Whether for the uSim card or the prepaid phones, we were given a preloaded value of 10,000원 for free and once we fax in a copy of our Alien Registration Cards, we get an additional free 10,000원 value. So nice of my scholarship sponsor!

After the orientation ended at slightly before 4pm, my roommate and I finally found the bus stop from which we can take the shuttle bus to Sasang Station. I went to Daiso to buy a few more items before we went to Paris Baguette to chill for awhile and then proceeding to E-mart to shop for more stuff for our room. I managed to find a Kookmin Bank ATM machine and made a fund transfer to my private Gmarket cyber account. Yes, more stuff coming my way soon :)
We had dinner at our new favourite eatery at Sasang before making our way back via taxi.

I received my Gmarket item too! Wanted to buy the reading desk last Saturday at Kyobo but it ran out of the cherry shade so I found one on Gmarket instead. It came with a free yellow highlighter.

I have a Korean placement test tomorrow but I can’t study. Shall wake up early tomorrow morning to revise some grammar!

Wish I could “like” your comment but Blogger doesn’t have such a function :P
When you’re in the home country of the brand “Lock & Lock”, you have a nice range of products to choose from :)
