[Part 1] 5. Shopping day #2

If this continues, I’ll be very broke.
Once my monthly allowance comes in and my Korean class starts, I shall stay in dorm during the weekdays and only go shopping during the weekends. And I’m on a ban from buying the following: makeup, skincare products, nail polishes, hats, sunglasses, hair accessories, jewellery (except for a chunky necklace that I’m looking for), bags and shoes (except for another pair of boots). Ok, this basically means that I can’t really shop anymore. I shopped too much this year, especially in Europe!

It was nice to wake up at around 10am again before heading out at 1pm.
Again, the shuttle bus didn’t go to Sasang Station but I’m pretty sure there’s one that does. Hopefully, Mr Yun will let us know more about the school’s shuttle bus services and facilities, etc. during our orientation on Tuesday. We took bus #62 down to Sasang Station before taking the train to Seomyun where we shopped. Alright, more like I shopped. Popped by Etude House and Aritaum for my Laneige fix before we headed to the food court in Lotte Department Store for lunch.

Menu
Seafood Miso Ramen
Hungry
With Shu Hua, my roommate
The ramen didn’t quite taste like ramen though; more like noodle in soup!

There’s a Zara boutique on the 5th floor of Lotte Department Store and I tried these on.
There’s a bag scan that you have to go through before you can enter the changing rooms, and you have to go through it again when you leave.
Really liked the printed silk blouse but the buttons pop out easily because of the material.
We continued shopping at the Underground Shopping area where I bought a wool hat for 24,000원.
Lotte has an obsession with the Trevi Fountain
Underground Shopping area
There wasn’t much in this Shopping Town
Visited this place back in 2009!
We went back to Sasang Station and found Daiso in Seobu Intercity Bus Terminal. I bought my hangers, drawer liner, basket and coasters. Wanted to buy a storage box for my bags but wasn’t sure of the dimensions. Daiso in Korea is so much cheaper than Singapore’s! Prices start from 1,000원. I bought 6 items for 7,000원. But the range of products in Sasang’s Daiso isn’t as good as the one at Bukit Panjang Plaza where I went to before I came to Korea.

We went to 되지국밥 for dinner before cabbing back to our dormitory. This time round, our fare was 3,300원 because of a slow vehicle in front of us. The taxi driver asked me where we were from and he said he visited Singapore back in 1980. He asked about Singapore’s population too. He said that Busan’s population is about 3.8 million with a land area that’s bigger than Singapore’s too.
It’s pretty hard to understand what the older Korean people say because their Busan accent/dialect 사투리 is quite thick. I just hope I won’t pick up the accent after staying here for 1 year!

Dinner
Had my favourite soondaegukbab 순대국밥
Buys for the day:
Bought a foundation brush and got a free mask
I tried out the Etude House volumner today and used it as a highlighter. I guessed I applied too much of it and ended up walking around with a shiny face -.- I shall use a foundation brush to mix the volumner and my BB cream together next time, instead of using the volumner as a highlighter.

Blackhead Melting Gel (25,000원) and Water Bank Essence 100ml (55,000원)- a 60ml bottle costs 38,000원. Got some free samples too.
Bought 2 Missha lipsticks: Signature Glam Art Rouge with SPF15/PA+ in SRD702 (red) and High Glossy Pure Lip Rouge with SPF13 in GRD01 Dew Drop (also a red shade)
With my new hat
I spent the rest of the night shopping on Gmarket. I’m ordering another travel adaptor and a storage box for my bags, among many other purchases. Have to drop by a Kookmin ATM machine to make the fund transfer to complete my transaction. Can’t wait for the storage box to arrive!
