| this was really delicious! |
Had dinner with the guys again and then ice cream with Fouad and we ended up having a nice long talk about love and our scholarship program. I’ve just Skyped with my parents and my dad said that my grandma asked him to give me money to buy an air ticket home because of the North Korean tensions. And my mum asked me why I had to come to a war-torn country to do my MBA, of all places.
I really don’t know how this current crisis will turn out. Nobody knows, and I guess the people around me, especially us foreigners, are getting more scared by the minute.

Hi Clara. I am from the same NUS cohort as you and am currently attending KLI now. Do not be worry about the current border tension as my korean friends have assured me that war seems rather unlikely and in fact most koreans are not worrying about this. “North Korea’s statement advising foreigners to make plans to evacuate Seoul is more unhelpful rhetoric that serves only to escalate tensions.”
So just continue life as usual :)
