I finally went to the Hello Kitty cafe in Hongdae! After talking about wanting to go for ages, I got my wish. But actually, it's nothing special. And the drilling from the renovations directly above the cafe almost drove us nuts :( It's near the
2nd shop of Coffee Prince Cafe which I went to last year. F&B at the Hello Kitty cafe are quite cheap though. Prices for waffles start from 2,500KRW and for bread, 6,000KRW. YW was the only guy in the cafe until a guy came with a group of friends later on. We did a bit of shopping in Hongdae after that and we got couple rings from a roadside store for only 3,000KRW each! Byungsoo said we should have gotten better couple rings and I'm surprised that I actually love the rings because I'm normally a brand-conscious person. But this time round, I love them because the words on them are meaningful and actually... why do we even need expensive rings? Our love is not quantified by the cost of the rings :) I've changed, haven't I? :)

We left for Myeongdong after that and I tried looking for the Nickhun poster for Jeannie but couldn't find any solo posters of him. I changed another S$150 to Korean won too but the exchange rate dropped from 860 2 days before to 855 :( Thankfully, the difference wasn't that great...just 1,000KRW only! I dropped by Artbox as well because I wanted to do a refund for a Fujifilm Instax camera bag that I bought from Sungshin Women's University shopping street 2 days ago but they didn't allow me to a refund because I had to go back to the original Artbox outlet from which I bought the bag from. I thought my cousin was using the 7s camera but she's actually using the 55 model. How silly of me :( With time to spare before meeting Byungsoo and Kenneth for dinner at 8pm, I went to Namdaemun to have my lens repaired and bought a new filter and hood as well. The guy at Hyosung Camera remembered me! But he got my name wrong :( He thought I'm Diana -.-

Before going back to Anam, I went back to the Artbox at Sungshin Women's University shopping area where I had bought the camera bag from to get my refund but it was a complicated process because I paid for the purchase with my SG credit card :( Back in Anam, I shopped at Aritaum and the SA remembered me. She gave me the 10% discount as promised and lots of samples :) I met Kenneth at Da Vinci Cafe to teach him Korean before we met Byungsoo for dinner. We had 육회 raw beef with slices of pear. According to Byungsoo, you should eat a piece of pear with every piece of raw beef so that it tastes sweet and nice. We also ordered 보쌈 bossam (pork belly) with a bottle of soju. After dinner, I wanted to have my last bubble tea at 58℃ but the bubble tea shop was closed till Feb because the boss and his wife had gone back to China. Now I'll never get to redeem my free drink there :( Eventually, I ended up with a hot bubble green tea latte at Dunkin Donuts. I never knew that Dunkin had bubble tea and it was even stranger that they had hot bubble tea. But I don't recommend ordering a hot drink with pearls inside because the pearls were too soft for my liking. I like them a little harder and chewy!

After teaching Kenneth Korean for a little while, I walked over to school to meet YW. Our last time walking through the school campus at night :( I will miss so many things here! Today is my 2nd last full day in Korea. My heart's not ready to leave but I'm getting a bit sick and tired of the cold and walking on icy roads and pavements.
