It's already 19th June and I'm leaving in about 6 weeks' time...
On 21st June 2009, I left for my 3rd trip to Korea.
But this time round, I'm more unprepared than I was last year with my internship draining my energy and the nagging fear of my trip not materialising, all thanks to North Korea.
I'm excited about my new life in 6 weeks' time but I can't bear to leave my family and friends behind. I guess I'll have to try to put up a brave front at the airport and not cry when I bid my parents goodbye again. At least this time round, I won't be flying off alone because I have Mel and her mum...and maybe Jo too!
A big THANK YOU to my dear readers of my Wordpress blog for your support! As of today, I've had 13,648 hits since I started that blog on 19th April last year. But I decided to move back to Blogger as I didn't want to be restricted by the limited number of free wordpress.com templates available (unless I pay for a custom CSS upgrade).
Alright, I shouldn't waste my precious weekends...better start planning and studying Korean again! (haven't done any studying since my Korean lessons ended in April...oh dear!)

Hi! I stumbled upon your blog and after reading your entries, I am even more inspired in taking up korean classes! (:
Personally, I really think that you are very lucky to be able to go for so many wonderful student exchange programmes! May I know if you are part of NUS extension therefore you had these opportunities?
Last but not least, when did you started picking up the korean language?
Sorry for so many questions! And thanks for your patience!
Hello :) Yes indeed, you should take up korean classes, especially if you have the passion because that's what keeps you going during the tough times because learning a new language is no mean feat! I plan to learn french next year.
Yes, I'm actually in the pioneer batch of the Korean Language Preparation Program in NUS and I took 4 modules of Korean classes at the Centre of Language Studies since the start of my matriculation back in Aug 2008. I'm not in NUS extension, I take the classes under NUS.
No worries :)
hello clara dear, am looking forward to your blog posts next Aug :)
Hello Denise, thank you!
I hope to start blogging everyday from 2 Aug onwards :)
So excited for you! I have been blogging so slowly for my Korean entries. T.T I have like 2 months of backlog!? Unbelievable. I was also considering moving all my Korean entries to blogspot for easier referencing, haha especially when friends ask me about Korea. I really wanna go back at the end of this year, but it's too soon. You have a great time in Korea! (:
Hello Sarah, thank you!!!
Whoa, 2 months?!?! I shudder to think of the backlog I'll most probably accumulate too :( It's really tough to blog everyday especially when I take so many photos in a day and have to edit all the photos before selecting the best few shots to upload and blog about the day :(
Yup, blogspot or wordpress is better than livejournal!
Serious? You miss Korea so much? I'm seriously suffering from pre-departure blues and part of me doesn't want to leave now...fear of the unknown! haha :)
Aw, haha, 2 months, but not everyday lah. I blog the more significant events. Cos' when you're there for 4-5 months, there will definitely be days when you don't do anything much.
I felt the pre-departure blues too. And I only finished packing 2 hours prior to my flight cos' I was so worried. But don't worry, I'm sure you're gonna fit right in. I mean, you've already been there before and plus, you're going with people! Haha.
I'm working on transferring my entries and reblogging some stuff now. Will link you once I'm done or something. Hope to meet you and Jeannie before you two fly off! (:
Oh...yeah true :)
OMG, 2 hours?!?! My mum will probably start helping me with packing soon. Yeah, thank goodness I'll be flying off with my friends and not alone! It's when I fly alone that I get really emotional. Thank goodness for Jeannie too! We're taking most classes together, phew! Alright, let me know and yes, meet up either this week or the next!
